Attendance Make-Up
High School students who recieved an email from Mrs. Viitala regarding Attendance Hour Make-up hours, a reminder that you can make up hours after school or Saturday School. Make-up forms are in Mrs. Viitala's office.
UP Future Health Leaders Camp
8th and 9th grade students interested in a career in the health field have an opportunity to attend the UP Future Health Leaders Camp at NMU this summer. The deadline to apply is May 15th. Email Mrs. Viitala for the application.
Blood Drive
Please consider donating blood on Monday May 11th. The National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive here at school on May 11th from 10am to 2pm. You need to be at least 16 to sign up. 16 year olds will need a permission slip with a parent signature turned in to Mr. Kilpela's room or the office as soon as possible. 17 years or older do not need a permission slip.
HS Football Weight Lifting
We will have high school football weightlifting on Saturdays 10-11a until June 5, 2026.
Senior Class Lock-In
The Senior Lock-In will be May 29th from 10 pm to 4 am. This is open to GHS Seniors only. Forms are on the counter of the Athletic Office. The cost is $5 per person. There will be prizes for all Seniors who attend.
Forms and the $5 can be turned in to Mrs. Ruiz once they are signed by students and their guardians.
Yoga with Ms. Nycole
Yoga with Mrs. Nycole will now be Fridays from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. If you are interested please sign up at the athletic office or talk to Para Nycole for more information! This is a beginner course. All are welcome!
