Prom Rentals:
Students, there are $50 coupons for tux rentals, through Youngs Menswear. They are located in Escanaba, and also just opened a pop-up shop in Marquette, next to the Villa. We have placed their flyer and the coupons on the athletic counter, so please make sure to grab one!
ASVAB Testing
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS interested in a career in the military. The ASVAB test will take place May 1st. If you are interested in taking this test, email Mrs. Viitala by APril 30th.
Student Job Fair at NMU:
Student Job Fair on May 7, 2:00–4:00 PM, NMU's Jacobetti Center, open to all HS Students. You will have a chance to meet with local businesses and organizations in a wide variety of careers including arts/communication, business/tech, engineering/manufacturing, health sciences, human services, and natural resources. Explore after-school, summer, and future job opportunities. This is a great chance to network, ask questions, and build career connections
Attention Juniors and Seniors:
Prom will be at The Up North Lodge on May 10th from 8-12. Those planning to participate in Grand March it will be at The Up North Lodge as well with check in at 6:30 and walking at 7pm.
Tickets for prom are on sale starting today. The cost is $25 per person. If you purchase your ticket after May 2nd, they will be $30.

Be sure to set up your dinner reservations with plenty of time for travel and eating. Make your reservations for no later than 5pm.
Healthcare and Science Summer Camp Opportunity
We are excited to announce OsteoCHAMPS UP, a summer camp designed for high school sophomores and juniors in the Upper Peninsula who are interested in science, health care and pre med. This immersive, hands-on program will take place at Lake Superior State University from June 27-29, 2025. There is no cost!
Deadline to register is next week, May 1st. Check your email or see Mrs. Viitala for questions.

Celebration of Arts
Celebration of the Arts: This Wednesday, April 30th is Celebration of the Arts. The art show starts at 6:00 and the concert featuring the band and choirs starts at 7:00. Come on out and support your friends in the visual and performing arts programs.
Solo and Ensemble
Solo and Ensemble: Congratulations to Brook Chaput and Milo Monarch, who participated in State Solo and Ensemble this last weekend. Both performed wonderfully, with Brook receiving a top score of 1 on her classical solo and theater solo, and Milo receiving a 1 on his theater solo and a 2 on his classical solo. Amazing work Brook and Milo!
Spring Musical
Spring Musical: This weekend the drama club presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a musical featuring funny songs, crazy characters, and even a little audience participation.
Shows are this Friday and Saturday at 7:00 and Sunday at 2:00. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.
Morning Football
Morning football will be Thursday instead of Tuesday this week. This is for the kids going into 9-12th grade.
Tennis Announcement
We have (3) scheduled Home Tennis Meets this week, so listen closely to the morning announcements for details. As a rule, always be ready to play or practice every day of the week. Have both your full uniform for matches or your practice gear every day.
Again we have 3 Home meets this week, be ready to play or practice...watch the weather also..

Junior Class Meeting:
There will be a Junior Class meeting every Wednesday at Lunch. Please bring your lunch to Mrs. Ruiz's room at the beginning of lunch time so we can have a productive meeting. Our topic is planning Prom.
